Biography
Elizabeth Dabney Baker, also known as Mrs. Baker and "Betty," held various roles at Nightingale spanning at least four decades. She was a Parent Teacher Association officer in the early 1940s, as the parent of student Joan Baker '45. In the 1950s, she was heavily invested in school fundraising, and served as chair of annual giving c. 1957. In the 1960s and 1970s, she was a member of the Board of Trustees.
It is unclear if she also taught classes at some point.
