Biography
Miss Laura Cameron came to Nightingale as a Class I homeroom teacher in fall 1996. In December 2000, she married Tyler Hale and became known as Mrs. Hale. She taught in the Lower School as a homeroom teacher and specialist until her retirement in June 2026.
Laura was educated at Denison College (BA) and Simmons College (MAT). Prior to Nightingale, she taught at Greenwich Country Day School and Lawrenceville School.
Laura has two children. Her mother, Alison Wright Cameron '52A, and aunt, Barbara Wright Gatje '48, are both Nightingale alumnae, and her grandfather Irving S. Wright was a Nightingale Trustee.
