Biography

Miss Aline Vicary, originally from England, taught eighth grade at Nightingale-Bamford School from 1935 to June 1973 and also served as Head of Middle School. The 1965 Yearbook was dedicated to her. Miss Vicary died in 1982. In 1992, two alumnae issued a challenge to name the seminar room in the new library the Aline Vicary Seminar Room [the room is currently part of the 3rd floor and photographs of every graduating class and past heads of school are hung on the walls].
