Biography
Katherine Rachlis joined Nightingale in fall 1961 as Middle and Upper School librarian. She also later taught English classes and served as head of the English department before departing after the 1972-73 school year.
Mrs. Rachlis was educated at Park College, and received master's degrees from Ohio State University (economics) and NYU (English). Prior to Nigtingale, she tutored American children in Paris and The Hague, and taught at Ohio State University and Grace Church School in New York City.
