Biography

Susan Klee Heller is a 1969 graduate of the Nightingale-Bamford School, where she began in fourth grade. As a student, Miss Heller was a member of the Athletic Board as secretary and President of the Athletic Association, Art Club, basketball and volleyball (captain) teams, Harvey House (President and athletic representative), the Blue Team (captain), and sports editor of The Spectator student newspaper. Ms. Heller joined Nightingale as a Kindergarten assistant teacher in the 1970s. Since then, she has held many roles at Nightingale, including Assistant to the Head of Lower School, Director of Facilities for over twenty years, Advisor for Institutional Advancement, and Alumnae Board member.

The Extracurricular Programs Record Group is comprised of records related to programs offered through the Nightingale-Bamford School outside of the regular school-year curriculum. These include after-school programs such as Hobbyhorse, summer enrichment, and Sunny Days summer camp. Records related to Interschool activities are also included.
