Biography

Audrey Goode was born March 19, 1921 in New York, NY to Henry and Mercedes (de Zalbo) Goode. She graduated from Nightingale in 1939. In 1946, she was hired by the school and held various positions until her retirement in 1986, including business office manager, running the school’s social service program, overseeing the infirmary, leading the Crew Club, and organizing the school Fair, her favorite project which raised money for scholarship students. Miss Goode retired along with Sarah Hamilton after the 1985-86 academic year. She died January 22, 2012 in Southbury, CT.
