Biography
After receiving her BA from Swarthmore and her MA from Teachers College, in 1997, Claire Lecomte du Nouy came to Nightingale as a French language teacher until 2002. She returned to Nightingale in 2006 as both a French teacher and director of student activities. Over the years, Claire held various roles including Class XII homeroom teacher, college advisor, Upper School dean of students, head of Middle School, and associate head of school. She passed away on January 21, 2024 from cancer.
