SG003 Parents Association Records, c. 1920 - 2013
Scope and Contents
Parents Association Records consist of records created by the Nightingale-Bamford School's Parents Association and photographs of its sponsored events. The Parents Association, previously known as the Parent-Teachers Association, is comprised of all current Nightingale parents, led by dedicated volunteers, to support the school by hosting social, educational, and fundraising events througout the year.
Parents Association parent volunteers serve on a variety of committees, which change as needs and interests change. These have included committees for library volunteers, a welcoming committee for new parents/families, Parents in Action (communication about drug/alcohol abuse and other subjects of concern), safety patrol, Uniform Closet (free gently used uniform items), joint schools activities, community service, and others.
