Student-drawn portraits of Mr. Burke, 2012
Scope and Contents
This collection of drawn portraits of Mr. Burke was created by students in the Classes of 2025 through 2028 in 2012 (Classes I, II, III, and IV) in Mr. Meikle's art classes in late 2012, when Mr. Burke began as head of school. Students interviewed Mr. Burke and drew portraits based upon his answers, which were then displayed around the schoolhouse. Some portraits include the artist's name, but many do not. In addition to the portraits, this collection includes a typed summary of Mr. Burke's answers to interview questions. Mr. Meikle added handwritten notes on the summary, giving context to the project and its creators.
