This series includes various news publications over the years created by Middle School students.

Bytes from the Bird began sometime around 1986 as a Middle School student newspaper (it first appears in the school's yearbook in 1986-87). A faculty advisor oversees the students' work and publication. It ceased publication after 1996, the last year it appeared in the school yearbook "activities" section. The archives holds issues dating from January 1986 to November 1992.

The Jr. Nighthawk Newspaper may consist of a single issue in 2018. Further research is necessary to determine if any further issues were created.
