The Yearbook of The Nightingale-Bamford School, vol. 38, 1962
Scope and Contents
Nightingale-Bamford School students publish a yearbook annually each spring, under the supervision of an advisor, which serves as a memento of the school year. Yearbooks typically include group photographs of students in each class year, sometimes with identifying names of each student pictured. Class XII students are honored with individual photographs. Earlier yearbooks included senior students' school activities, while later yearbooks allow seniors to design their own page. Yearbooks may also include photographs of students in clubs, athletics, and dramatic productions, photographs of professional community members, reviews of special school events, poetry and writing, and candid photographs from the academic year. Advertisements printed in the back of yearbooks are sold to offset the cost of the publication. Every Nightingale student is given a yearbook at the end of the academic year.
Yearbooks are available in the archives in print for the years 1925 through 2020, with the exception of the following years: 1936, 1940, 1955, 1958, 1977, and 1980. The Institutional Advancement office has print copies of all yearbooks except 1936. All yearbooks (except 1936) are available digitally on the school's digital archives platform for the years 1925 through 2017. Contact the school archivist for access information.
