Moving Up ceremonies

Scope and Contents From the Series:

When the Nightingale archives were first organized, it was impossible to discern where most photographs originated. Thus, they were placed into subject categories. As of at least the 2000s, most photographs taken at Nightingale originate in the communications department and are used in both print and electronic publications and social media. Thus, when it can be determined that communications was the creator of photographs, they will be catalogued in this series.

Scope and Contents

This scrapbook includes colorful decorations and photographs of students and Nightingale faculty/staff throughout the 2007-08 school year. Photographs include candids of the Class of 2012 students, Halloween, homeroom, Class VIII teachers, Ellis Island trip, Middle School athletic teams, Washington, D.C. trip, The Daily Chug, Moving Up ceremony, and formal Class of 2012 class photos with a class list. There is a notecard from Jennifer Lipman '12 gifting the scrapbook to Mrs. Kingson.

Records relate to teaching of the arts, student work, commencement, Class VIII Moving Up and Class IV Daisy ceremonies, and library and archives records.
