Biography
Herman W. Hall, an educational psychologist, worked in Pupil Evaluation and Development and consulted at Nightingale from 1982 to c. 2000. He specialized in analyzing standardized test scores in connection with other factors to deduce learning styles and aid students with learning challenges. Prior to Nightingale, Mr. Hall was in the Navy, graduated with BS and MA degrees from Springfield College, then worked as an English and history teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator in Bedford, New York schools. He consulted at several independent schools in upper Manhattan in addition to Nightingale.
He was married to Cera Robbins, a long-time President of the Board of Trustees at Chapin School.
