Biographical Note
Jill Krementz is an author, photographer and photojournalist. She has published over thirty books, mostly children's books and photography books. She has worked for the New York Herald-Tribune, extensively photographed authors, and exhibited in New York City galleries. Ms. Krementz is the widow of Kurt Vonnegut, the author. They are parents of Lily Vonnegut, who attended Nightingale. During Lily's Nightingale years, Ms. Krementz took photographs of student life at the school. Many of her signed photographs are included in the Nightingale-Bamford School Archives.
