Vogt, Tom D.
Biography
Tom D. Vogt taught Upper School English and history at Nightingale. He came to Nightingale in 1985 and retired in 1997, when he was chosen as commencement speaker.
Tom Vogt was born in Kentucky and educated at the Taft School and Yale University. In addition to teaching, he published books on politics, education, and sports. Prior to Nightingale, Mr. Vogt was the Assistant Headmaster at the Rhodes School.
