Scope and Contents
Athletics records are comprised mostly of photographs of students practicing or competing in specific sports, although there are some more general athletic photographs, including physical education classes. Textual records include schedules of competitions with other schools, memoranda, and Homecoming programs. In addition, there are athletics uniforms dating between 1940 and 1990, realia such as banners and awards, the Nightingale Nighthawks chant,... and records and photographs of the Athletics Board and Athletics Association. A few video recordings of athletic competitions and one sound recording of a "physical education song" are also included.
