 Item — Box: 04041
Identifier: 004 006 000 11 0001

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Originally called the Parent-Teacher Association, the Parents Association began publishing newsletters to Nightingale families in the early 1940s. Generally, these newsletters included reports on school activities and curriculum, upcoming events, faculty news, and reports from school administration on education matters. Issues also include lists of Parents Association officers and class representatives, and sometimes committees.

Beginning in spring 1945, news of the school, alumnae, and parent activities were combined into one publication titled "The Bulletin." These are located in RG03_SG001_S01_SS01 Alumnae Newsletters. However, each group resumed its own publication by 1951.
