Scope and Contents From the Series:

Traditionally, a group photograph of students in the same class year is taken annually and each class photograph for that year is published in the school yearbook. The Class Photographs series includes some of those original photographs, along with other photographs where most or all students in a class are together. Occasionally, photographs will include students from two class years, pictured together.

Scope and Contents From the Record Group:

Special Collections encompasses materials relevant to Nightingale, its history, people, and/or mission, but were not created in the ordinary course of Nightingale's business or were donated items significant enough to constitute their own collection. These records do not generally fall into the other record groups' scope.

Scope and Contents From the Series: Commencement Records include commencement ceremony invitations, programs, scripts, and transcriptions of speeches given. Each year, a commencement guest speaker is invited to deliver words of wisdom and inspiration to the graduating senior students; correspondence with prospective guest speakers and the speaker's biographical information and or curriculum vitae may be in this record series. Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: Heads of School records consist of records created by or under the purview of the various heads of Nightingale-Bamford School from its founding to present, as well as photographs, clippings, and biographical records with the head of school as subject.
