Scope and Contents From the Series:

As early as the 1970s, Class XII students have had the option to create an Independent Study Project (also called an Independent Senior Project, or ISP). Students select a subject of their choice, the parameters of the project, and how their learning will be exhibited, whether it be a final essay, analysis, play, artistic creation, or combination of these things. Presentations are given in the spring.

Consists mostly of Dorothy Hutcheson's remarks made at Moving Up assemblies/ceremonies for Class VIII. Some years also include ceremony programs. Student remarks made at the ceremonies from Marina Reza '09, Arielle Farkas '09, Whitney Lane '06, Hadley Nagel '09, Christine Henderson '04, and April Gentile-Miserandino '01.

Scope and Contents From the Series: The Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes series includes meeting notices and minutes of regular, annual, and special meetings of the Nightingale-Bamford School Board of Trustees and Miss Nightingale's School, its predecessor. Meeting minutes through 1977 are compiled into seven bound volumes chronologically, although some may also be available loosely. These compilations may additionally contain records related to Board meetings and school governance, such as agreements, charters, and bylaws....
