Scope and Contents From the Series:

Traditionally, a group photograph of students in the same class year is taken annually and each class photograph for that year is published in the school yearbook. The Class Photographs series includes some of those original photographs, along with other photographs where most or all students in a class are together. Occasionally, photographs will include students from two class years, pictured together.

Scope and Contents From the Record Group: The Academics Record Group consists of records related to teaching and educating students at the Nightingale-Bamford School. Records relate to teaching of the arts, student work, commencement, Class VIII Moving Up and Class IV Daisy ceremonies, and library and archives records. Records related to the professional community (faculty, staff), such as curriculum records, employee manuals, faculty newsletters, lists and biographical information of professional community members, faculty meeting...

This scrapbook includes colorful decorations and photographs of students and Nightingale faculty/staff throughout the 2007-08 school year. Photographs include candids of the Class of 2012 students, Halloween, homeroom, Class VIII teachers, Ellis Island trip, Middle School athletic teams, Washington, D.C. trip, The Daily Chug, Moving Up ceremony, and formal Class of 2012 class photos with a class list. There is a notecard from Jennifer Lipman '12 gifting the scrapbook to Mrs. Kingson.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: Athletics records are comprised mostly of photographs of students practicing or competing in specific sports, although there are some more general athletic photographs, including physical education classes. Textual records include schedules of competitions with other schools, memoranda, and Homecoming programs. Scope and Contents From the Series: This series includes documents related to physical education classes and athletics at Nightingale, such as multi-sport competition schedules, correspondence, programs for student athletic demonstrations and Homecoming games, a Nighthawks chant, physical education curriculum records, and memoranda regarding athletic offerings. This series also includes photographs of physical education classes in progress and athletics-related photographs that are not attributable to a specific athletic team...

Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series consists of video recordings of Nightingale-Bamford School Commencement ceremonies for most years after 1985. There is one sound recording of the commencement ceremony in 1986, and one senior slideshow video created for the Class of 2009.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: Admissions Office Records include records created by Nightingale's admissions department, records related to enrollment and attrition, admission applications (some completed by applicants, but most are blank forms), applications for tuition grants and other finanicial aid, school profiles, class profiles, admissions viewbooks (8.5" by 11" visual and textual publications that promote the school culture and offerings), brochures, and videos describing the school's philosophy and offerings, and...
