Biography

Kate Elizabeth Ball taught history and geography, advised Harvey House, and conducted the Glee Club at Nightingale beginning in 1943. Miss Ball married Charles Stevenson Davis, Jr. and became known as Mrs. Davis in September 1948. She retired from Nightingale in spring 1967 and lived in Orleans, Massachusetts, where she died in September 2002.
