McChord, Ann

 Person

Biography

Ann McChord came to Nightingale-Bamford School in 1979 to manage the process of obtaining a zoning variance for reconstructing the schoolhouse and to communicate with all concerned constituencies. She ensured a strong Nightingale-community presence at scheduled public meetings, which helped the school win a variance that allowed the schoolhouse expansion that began in June 1989 and ended in summer 1991, with ribbon-cutting ceremonies in September 1992.
