S03 The Acorn, 1940 - 1943
The first issue of this monthly Middle School newspaper in March 1940 explains that, "although it has a small beginning, we expect great things of it in the future." Therefore, the newspaper was monikered The Acorn. Not strictly a newspaper, The Acorn includes poems and creative writing in addition to school happenings.
