Records in the Administration Record Group are related to the administration of Nightingale-Bamford School, including Heads of School records, Board of Trustees records, accreditation records, school association records, Business Office records, including financial and facilities records, and school technology records.

Special Collections encompasses materials relevant to Nightingale, its history, people, and/or mission, but were not created in the ordinary course of Nightingale's business or were donated items significant enough to constitute their own collection. These records do not generally fall into the other record groups' scope.

The Extracurricular Programs Record Group is comprised of records related to programs offered through the Nightingale-Bamford School outside of the regular school-year curriculum. These include after-school programs such as Hobbyhorse, summer enrichment, and Sunny Days summer camp. Records related to Interschool activities are also included.
