Scope and Contents From the Series:

Traditionally, a group photograph of students in the same class year is taken annually and each class photograph for that year is published in the school yearbook. The Class Photographs series includes some of those original photographs, along with other photographs where most or all students in a class are together. Occasionally, photographs will include students from two class years, pictured together.

Scope and Contents From the Series: Commencement Records include commencement ceremony invitations, programs, scripts, and transcriptions of speeches given. Each year, a commencement guest speaker is invited to deliver words of wisdom and inspiration to the graduating senior students; correspondence with prospective guest speakers and the speaker's biographical information and or curriculum vitae may be in this record series. Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: Faculty and Staff Records consist of records mainly pertaining to Nightingale employees (excepting administration) and their roles within the school. Included are newsletters by and/or for faculty members, biographical information and news clippings about faculty/staff, photographs and video recordings featuring faculty/staff, correspondence, lists of faculty and staff members, faculty handbooks, minutes from faculty meetings and summaries or notes from such meetings, and curriculum-related...

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

This subseries includes records relating to the annual reunion for alumnae held at Nightingale. Records include invitations to the annual reunion and related events, correspondence, reunion guest books and scrapbooks, reunion event schedules and programs, and alumnae awards presented at reunion. Photographs from reunion activities can be found in RG03_SG001_S03.

The Student Life Record Group consists of records related to Nightingale students that evidence student life at the school outside of classroom academics. Included are yearbooks, student publications, athletics records, admissions department records, college advising records, records of student clubs and committees, student governance records, diversity and community life, records regarding the brief boarding school at Nightingale, and records of student support/counseling offerings.
