Scope and Contents From the Record Group:

The Student Life Record Group consists of records related to Nightingale students that evidence student life at the school outside of classroom academics. Included are yearbooks, student publications, athletics records, admissions department records, college advising records, records of student clubs and committees, student governance records, diversity and community life, records regarding the brief boarding school at Nightingale, and records of student support/counseling offerings.

Scope and Contents From the Series: The Parents Association hosts and supports several events each year. Records, ephemera, and photographs from these events are included in this series. Over the years, events have included the school Fair (as late as the 1960s, the Fair was organized by the student Social Service Committee, but Fair planning transferred to the Parents Association sometime after), Fathers Who Cook fundraiser, author nights and book fairs (early book fairs were hosted by the Alumnae Association), theater...

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

This sub-series includes records of the Cultural Awareness for Everyone (C.A.F.E.) Club and consists mainly of photographs of club members for annual yearbooks and of club activities, as well as event programs and numerous photographs that document the club's Cultural Night events over the years.

Articles and photographs about C.A.F.E. and Cultural Night can also be found in yearbooks, school publications, and Spectator, the student newspaper.

Scope and Contents From the Series: Music Records include photographs of music classes and concerts, Glee Club members and events, and students playing instruments and singing; concert invitations, fliers, programs, newspaper clippings and correspondence related to the music program; and sound recordings of concerts. Lower School music presentations that also include dance, drama, or other collaborations are included in this series.
